To like, to really like, including は&が

すき- to like (the "u" is not prominently pronounced, so it sounds more like "ski" instead of "suki")猫がすきです。The が can be switched out for は, but it will slightly change the meaning.大すき ー to really like (big like)マッシューさんが大好きです。[I really do tho 🙂 hes the bestest.] uwu :hearteyes:

は&が have the same definition, but they are not the same.は emphasizes what comes before it (talks about something)が emphasizes what comes after it (identifies something) Ex:私はKirstenです。<ーPuts emphasis on the name "Kirsten". I am Kirsten.私がKirstenです。<ー Puts emphasis on "I". I am Kirsten.
