I’m back! Memory recall
Hello! I finally feel well enough that I'm not wholly thinking about my mouth pain. So, recalling what I've learned. です(Desu) - it isじゃありません(Jaarimasen) - it is notでした (Deshita) - it wasじゃありませんでした (Jaarimasen deshita) - it was notYou can add か (ka) to the end of them to turn them into questions, 何ですか?
じゃありませんでした(it was not)
Just something I recall from the other day when I was reading ahead. いいえ、ねこ。じゃありませんでした。犬でした。 No, it was not a cat. It was a dog. Again, the (i) in deshita is "silent" so it's pronounced like desh-ta
It was (でした)
Pronounced desh-ta (no I sound) https://videopress.com/v/ZOxSzwT7?preloadContent=metadata Ahhhhhh 🤐😬😳 Eep. Please don't judge too harshly. That was the best way I could work on pronunciation and remembering things. Next up will be combining the past with the negative, but it's 10:30 on, EST and Im going to bed!
