I’m back! Memory recall

Hello! I finally feel well enough that I'm not wholly thinking about my mouth pain. So, recalling what I've learned. です(Desu) - it isじゃありません(Jaarimasen) - it is notでした (Deshita) - it wasじゃありませんでした (Jaarimasen deshita) - it was notYou can add か (ka) to the end of them to turn them into questions, 何ですか?

Just something I recall from the other day when I was reading ahead. いいえ、ねこ。じゃありませんでした。犬でした。 No, it was not a cat. It was a dog. Again, the (i) in deshita is "silent" so it's pronounced like desh-ta

That was the best way I could work on pronunciation and remembering things. Next up will be combining the past with the negative, but it's 10:30 on, EST and Im going to bed!

😛 犬ですか?いいえ、犬じゃありません。猫です。 Translation: is it a dog? No, it is not a dog. It is a cat. Learning currently じゃありません(jaarimasen) which is 'it is not.' As usual, the sentence structure is backwards, where sentences would literally translate to Dog, it? No, dog it is not. Cat it is.
